The Importance of a Formal Dining Room

Sitting room was like a waste of space to them because it made the kitchen and the family room so much smaller. Today we would just chop down that wall have a great room, you know, whatever. It reminded me of my friend's house who had a front sitting room. And I was like, yeah, every time I went over their house, we either sat at the kitchen table or we sat in the sitting room. We never watch TV.
