When using typescript and hy, i always prefer export const fo and then te function tor you no return the stuff or const whatever. The big issue is that when you default or default export something, you you're not exporting with a name. And so what what can happen is you get this really uneasy thing where some things have been renamed somewhere, but not elsewhere. So i use only named exports for just about everything.
