The Threat of Reciprocal Care in the COVID Pandemic

I think reciprocal care when practiced by groups of people in an intentional political way has always been a threat to state power. I think that COVID is definitely a stage of that because in order to do the harm they want to do, the government and corporate forces need us to abandon each other. They need us to increasingly accept the mass sacrifice of other people for the sake of the status quo. Caring when so many others are acting as though not caring is normal will only intensify with time. It's reciprocal care versus inevitability as defined by the ruling class. But wounds don't close when they're unacknowledged. And we talk about that about in the section around hope and grief
