Using Newtonian Mechanics to Predict

We can use Newtonian mechanics to predict, get an estimate for how long it will take if something is dropped out of a window from a 10-story building. And even within physics, we have variables like air resistance, friction, that can get in the way of making accurate predictions. But now, in the realm of human affairs, we have systems that not only are far more complex and we can't account for all the variables,. but the crucial difference here is people are causal agents in what's going on, they're creating knowledge.
