Can We Still Have Public Schools if Everyone Agrees That We Want Our Southern Baptists?
The system we currently have, though, isn't, strictly speaking, it's not majoritarian point of view. In which case, what ends up happening in the public school may be the minority point of view because it's rooted in a secular philosophy rather than a theology. So if i'm an episcopalian, say, and i have a pretty wide view of sex, no, i have a very different view of sexuality from the southern baptist church. But you could appeal to non theology. And that's not goin establishment clause violation. I can run for school board based on scripture. Can say, a, my position as a member of the school board is on going
