Thomas coon seemed to think of paradime shifts as almost mystical processes. By the time ordinary outsiders hear about a paradime shift, it's already well into its life cycle. These are two different phrases, waiting for anomalies and inspiration versus yelling at the hide bound establishment to accept the new order. And they require different virtues.
