The Importance of Faith in the Christian Religion

There's a wing of Christian evangelical culture that's sort of maybe a little bit anti-intellectual is a little bit scared of going too far down the academic path. When someone expresses doubts or questions you sort of bury it. You're like we're not allowed to ask those questions. And so that that is very much out there and I imagine people listening to this podcast would say yeah maybe they grew up in a church like that because we probably still know churches today that are like that. We believe yes faith is fundamental but there's also a consistency we expect to find when we look at Christianity and compare it to the evidence we have.
