Brand positioning is really capturing the desired associations you want to connect with your offering. So as a strategist, as a marketing person, you need to understand what do consumers currently associate with my brand? What are the associations i want them to associate with my offering in order to have my brand grow and succeed? And the brand positioning statement captures this desired association. That's really it for me. At the end of the day. You can, you can, you know, translate that into 26 different format and frameworks and stuff like that, but at the end ofthe day is, tell me what you want to associate with your offering to make it appealing to your consumer segments.
