Chung Kaikas, Farewell My Concubine

In 1987's Rouge, he played a very selfish, very cowardly man who let the woman he loved down and was a critical success. In a lot of his films, be it Rouge or the Wong-Kha-Wai movies he did or Farewell My Concubine which we'll talk about later, he was someone with a sense of danger. And I think that's what sets him apart from other stars. Now despite dying in his prime, Chung's mammography and discography was still huge. He was active in the Hong Kong entertainment scene when it was at its most popular and productive. So it would be impossible to give a full account of what he did.
