The Power of Praise

There's a third purpose here, very clear in verse 16. And that is, push the wrong button, it goes backwards. Verse 16 says this, that you would go and bear fruit and that your fruit would remain. We're called for that purpose. I'm convinced that those rewards are not just those eternal forever rewards, but sometimes we get this incredible, joyful experience of seeing the results of our work and our labor and our ministry right now in this lifetime.
