Learning the Thai Language at AUA

When I arrived in Bangkok, I knew I didn't want to be illiterate or move that I wanted to be able to understand what was going on around me. So I came across the AUA program, the Thai program at AUA, and it was definitely different. And so I devoted a year to it. The outcome after one year was I understood most of what was goingon around me. After about five years of just living here using the language, I found that some foreigners whose ability could out express me in a sort of a natural way.
