Cheryl Skegan settled a sexual harassment lawsuit against the founder of Hooked on Phonics in 2011. Dr. Michael Wylert declared bankruptcy, and his old medical practice was fighting for a piece of it to pay for its own attorney fees. So he could prescribe an average of 510 pills a month for more than two years until he finally admitted she was alive again.
