The Importance of Prayer in the Church

The book of Acts begins with largely 120 disciples assembled here in Jerusalem. The number will come in handy when we get to chapter 2 and then again in chapter 4. So they appointed two Joseph Barsobus and Matthias and then they pray unto the Lord. They put forth their lots and the lot fell upon Matthias and he was numbered with the 11 Apostles.
