We Don't Pray About Eclipses, Right?
Lewis talks a lot about Jesus's prayer in the Garden of Gethsemane. He says, sometimes prayer is just saying, Oh, you beauty,. You're just affirming God and acknowledging his infinite wisdom and his infinite goodness. Sometimes we want to affirm and sometimes we want to make a request, but they're all mixed together. In many ways our relationship with God is a mirror of our human relationships. We need to apologize.
