How to Win Small Film Festivals

There's nothing wrong with winning small, right? That means somebody sees something beautiful in your script. A lot of producers aren't going to take a win at a festival they don't recognize very seriously unless they know and trust the person who runs it. So i if you have unlimited resources, go wide. If you have limited resources, you really want to target the festivals and the contests that are going to give you access.
