Christopher Harborne - The First Moment, the Only Moment
Christopher Harborne made the news in 2008 when he crashed a small plane into a neighbour's garden. He got a nasty cut to his head and was airlifted to hospital. Until then, he'd made his money unobtrusively as a management consultant at McKinsey before starting his own company called Sheriff Global Group. Since 2019, Christopher Harborne has given vast sums to British political causes - more than 15 million altogether. More than £13.5 million out of that 15 went to the Brexit party, the rest has gone to the Conservatives and to Boris Johnson.
