The church often doesn't trust our hearts. The world is in the opposite direction because the world says you should listen to your heart no matter what. What we must learn to do is to distinguish the voice from the evil one and the voice of the Father. And how do we learn to make decisions? Well it means that we must discern the evil one's voice from the Father's voice.
