Bob Dylan's the Chronicles, Volume One

The book that's had the most impact on me this year, I've mentioned it a couple of times. Tony Jude's post-war history of Europe after World War II came out about 10 years ago. It is about the creation of the modern world that is now kind of sort of fraying or at least it has been tired. The best, my favorite piece of reading in the last six months was this interview with Bob Dylan.
