Sophy mc kibbin is the managing producer for the last archive. She says each episode was inspired by an orson wells radio programme from the 19 fifties called the black museum, a drama about murders set at scotland yard. Sophy: "We really wanted people who maybe would not consider themselves to be history nerds to understand how miraculous it feels to find something in an archive"
