Hana Nalatar Khashoggi - A Memoir of a Man

Hana Nalatar first met Jamal Khashoggi at a conference in 2009. They kept in touch and they were friends for almost a decade before their romance began. He was fired from Al-Madina for publishing pieces that were critical of the Saudi regime, including women's rights to drive or blowing the whistle on corruption among the religious police. But he maintained his elite social status by living between Washington D.C. and Saudi Arabia.
