The technology exists now. There's a lot of other pieces to work out, but in theory it can totally happen. After these hungry bacteria eat the CO2 gas, what's left over can be used to make new, useful things like fuels, fabrics, and packaging. It would have been so hard to imagine back then that what came from that experiment is part of our everyday lives now. Now is the time to learn more about these technologies before they revolutionize our lives.
