The Importance of Homeschooling
John Holt is an educator who in 1976 calls for a children's underground railroad to help children escape compulsory schooling. A common theme in the homeschooling principles that both Holt and Moore, those two people hold is that home education should not attempt to bring the school into the construct of the home or a view of education as an academic preliminary to life. They view home education as natural experiential aspects of life that occur as the members of family are involved with one another in daily living.
