The dynamic island has made my iPhone more usable or more useful. It's not pointless just for the sake of covering up that those two punch hole things. So I wouldn't give it up. But what's sad though, is that in a couple years or so, Face ID and stuff are going to be under the display. And so like I don't want to get used to dynamic island and then they take it away.
