How to Channel Hate in the Service of Truth

Hate is like a big umbrella term for most of us as adults. It's not that primal fury of an infant who is in distress at three o'clock in the morning, but it goes into hurt and it goes into being rejected. How do we recognize these really primal feelings in ourselves? Well, I think normalizing hatred as a spectrum or within the spectrum of human emotion makes perfect sense. That's right. If we exhibit behaviors, subtle or gross, that provoke hatred in other people in most adult environments, people will just abandon us. They won't feel that they need to give us an explanation or describe why they're just eternally unavailable.
