So it was never that I was sitting only in the ivory tower and thinking, I've always had a sense of how do you apply this? He says he got very excited by Grameen Phone, which grew super fast because it could really have scaled with lots of capital. "If you attract a ton of capital, you can invest in things that are worthwhile investing in," Faisal says.
