The Importance of a Third Party Audit Record
Is it right to ask to see a trader, teacher or mentors track records and performance the past three years? I think if someone wants to train a trader, they can at least provide a third party audit record. You got to watch out for people who oh, here's my records and they give you a spreadsheet. So what does that actually prove? Bernie Madoff had a CPA verify his results. And it was bogus. But those people aren't necessarily teaching people to trade. They're more looking to invest your money for you.
