The Loss of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu
Israel is approaching its 75th independence day and it's doing it with some trepidation. We should add, as Israel is losing or has lost, rather, two of its cultural scions,. both coincidentally born again around the establishment of the state. I'm of course referring to author Mayor Shaliv who passed away two weeks ago; Yonatan Giffen, Israel's songwriter more than anything, playwright, died yesterday.
