The Importance of Context in Digital Shopping

Amazon is great for finding the specific book that you want and getting it as quickly and cheaply as possible. But as a shopping portal for anything, it's terrible, right? It's just square pictures of things and some descriptions of reviews. I mean, it has not evolved in any way beyond what it's capable of doing. And I think, you know, contrast with the emotional connection people have to shopping in bookstores.
