A man built a watertight compartment inside a fishing boat. He said he had sunk it to a depth of 300 feet and stayed there for 24 hours. The idea was that after 24 hours he'd pull a lever and release 20 tons, which would rise victoriously to the surface. "We're not going to do 300 feet. We're going to do 130," says Day.
