Introduction

VCRs took a couple of years to take hold in my neighborhood when I was growing up. My friend who's family got one became much more popular, as regular movie viewing would become an obsession with our circle of friends. After a few months of watching movies together, the friend of mine started to enjoy horror films. We would watch Ghost Story that night, and moving forward, the round robin of renting would continue.
