Why Do We Lies?

When I was growing up in Bogota, the norm when I walked into a. little corner stores, which were everywhere, is that you would get overcharged. It was sort of like you had to be friends with the grocer in order to get like good prices or something. People have a physiological arousal when lying for self gain, but not when lying for charity. Another reason is fatigue, which we'll get into distance from the crime and self deception.
