The Impact of Call the Midwife on American Fashion Culture
The long running BBC television program call the midwife. I think that was probably a pretty different paradigm for what a midwife could look like and the type of role they could serve in a community than anything that we really had here in the US. The story in that show is very much treated as like a legitimate profession that involved training and that's really rooted in the community. And I think that we're sort of the midwifery in the US is trying to go like is sort of in some way in that direction so Yeah, I think like sure why not it could totally have had an impact.
