How Did Japan Respond to the Initial Uprising?

Japan mobilized a large battalion of forces, estimates of more than two thousand troops were sent to this region. They recruited other local indigenous groups that historically had been rivals or had had tensions with the sedek and other groups that perpetrated the initial uprising. And so what they did was they started getting the quotonqot head hunters to head hunt the other head hunters. This opened up a whole another dimension in the after math of the musha incident. The majority of them where their heads were decapitated.
