The Second Game: A Nightmare
There's not a lot of explicit storytelling in the second game. The story is all vague and nightmarish anyway. It's more about how you feel rather than tracking the specific narrative. You'll see things that you recognize and there's like little callbacks and stuff like that. But it's not one of those things you need to play the first one to play the second one at least.
