The Different Structures of PFAS
PFAS molecules have a tendency to repel both oil and water. They were originally produced by industries for repellent properties. Once they enter the environment through disposal, industrial production or even something like military use of firefighting equipment, it doesn't go away. It kind of just travels around the world.
