In dentistry, we know and when we have symptoms, things are getting pretty bad by the time that happens. So i often talk to patients about how, let's say they have heart disease, and no one ever maybe their gums look reasonably well. Then you do some vertical bite wings or something, and you'll see there's bone lost. And then it's kind of like when you learn about a normal pathway andndin pharmacology, you might say, ok, how are we going to help with the system that's not working?
