The Importance of Graphic Design

The idea is that the audience never sees the gimmick. gimmicks are, I'm not a performing magician by any means but performing magicians who use gimmicks, gimmicks do the work. So like the example I gave of the trash can metaphor as opposed to picking a certain portion of the disc that you'd like to overwrite with zeros. Even though it's kind of a cheesy metaphor, it does really work and we don't even think about it.
