The Future of Work Under Automation and AI
The Danish Finance Union have changed their strategy from being one of a job guarantee to a career guarantee. So they are helping their workers to re-skill and retrain even if it means that they're training them out of the finance union. I think younger people today have more understanding that their job path can take them through many different kinds of jobs and job titles. We also have to wake up as individuals and say, okay, if I get moved into a new sector or new business form and people are not unionized, I might never see them because I'm working from home or whatever. Well then we have to stand on the shoulders of the giants before us and actually do something about it
