James Cameron and Women in the 90s
Cameron was in a long term relationship with his terminator star Linda Hamilton. She wanted to get married, but Cameron dragged his feet. According to Linda, he used to say anybody can be a husband or a father. There are only five people in the world who can do what I do. And I'm going for that. He's like, well this is my family movie because I have five kids now. So this is my film about what it means to be a dad. Steven Spielberg famously said he would never have shot the same way if he had been a dad.
