The Rise and Fall of Derkram's Legacy
I think it's a really rich time to be talking about Derkram's legacy. The decline in your critique has forced us to do is reckon with the history of our discipline and go back to what we were talking about at the start you know rereading, reapprauded these classical writers. I talk about this in the postscript of the book and the concern to which it can be guilty of what Julian Go called racial essentialism. Someone like Derkram who was Jewish was marked out as Jewish during his life that he could only have following Jakobsson he would be white at some points but most of the time he was denied that he was seen as not white.
