Nestle - The Case of the Baby Killer
In 1974 an NGO, Warren Wont, published a book entitled The Baby Killer. Nestle used extremely aggressive marketing techniques to persuade often very poor people to use the product rather than breastfeed. Many mothers often diluted the product because they couldn't afford it in its full amount. It was enormously damaging to the company's reputation.
