The Evolution of the Drive to Dominance
There's the pattern that animals, especially male animals, seem to have a built and drive to dominate each other. So it seems reasonable to surmise that humans also have such a drive. And if so, then shouldn't we just expect that to be the cause of a lot of violence? I think those behaviors are things that I would kind of sort of proto moral things that what we do is just sort of extensions of that.
