Melatonin is a night hormone it usually rises around our sleep time and remains high throughout the night. People who take exogenous melatonin melatonin has them to fall back to sleep so that means for an average person throughout the day melatonin level is pretty low almost on detectable level. Then around two to three hours before our habitual bedtime Melatonin levels begin to rise to detectable level then drop again after we wake up.
