The scientific method is do whatever it takes to not be fooled that something is true that is not or that something is not true that is. And some fields are less bias prone than in actual physics. In particle physics, you know, they're just possibly because without you involved in it all, it's not sexy at all. So it doesn't get introduced by a lot of out.
