Mimetic theory advocates and researchers point to the idea that if you have scarce resources, your mimetic desire is going to put you into conflict with your neighbor. MIMISIS can be positive when there's a win, win outcome for everybody. But when things are tight, when there's scarce resources or exceptional scarce resources doesn't have to be objectively a scarce resource,. What happens is humans get into rivalry.
