Elasticsearch - What Is the Difference Between Open Source and Free Software?
I think for beginners, it looks very complex because all of these licenses and maybe the legal language is not very familiar to everyone. But as I said, at the end of the day, it's all about the four freedoms. And another remark is that I think it's good to have this variety of approaches. Even the inventions of Elasticsearch and Redis Labs and MongoDB, they have been pointing at some problems. So we need to listen to these problems.
