The Worst Job in the World Is Leader of the Opposition

I like being leader of the Labour Party, but I really dislike being opposition. The worst job in the world is leader of the opposition because you're not changing people's lives. We are going to inherit a chaotic situation when it comes to the economy. And there's going to be massive strain on the public finances. But I don't believe having run a public service for five years that further cuts to our public services are going to allow us to have public service that are delivering anything meaningful for the public.
