Gene Seymour: I've considered the possibility that he's just a very old soul. He's sort of like an old llama who took birth in a certain culture with a certain style. And that as his life went on, he was just looking through culture and then moving for the proper mettier to express the wisdom he had all along. That is a hero's journey that any of us would love to emulate.
