The Effects of Bombing on the German Heavy Industry
In October 1940, when Churchill sanctions are a, you know, the Air Ministry to to do indiscriminate bombing. But then in 1941 that shifts and it shifts to something much more sinister. And so you've got these,. you know, these various, I mean, looking at these missives from the Air Ministry. So June 1941, it says the output of the German heavy industry depends almost exclusively on the workers. continuous and relentless bombing of these workers over a period of time will inevitably lower them or I'll kill a number of them. A month earlier than this is from the Ministry of Economic Warfare: British experience leads us to believe that loss of output through absenteeism and other dislocation
