Mel Branche's Famous Induction Problem
Mel Branche's main motivation is actually the same motivation that Eshaira and Mātridi's have, namely he sees an unsolvable problem between divine and secondary causation. And therefore he doesn't find a specific solution to a specific problem. After him there will be a famous philosopher who will start to ground his arguments on the same basis of Mel Branche's occasionalism against laws of nature. We are talking about David Hume,. because his famous induction problem, Hume's famous induction problem was like a kind of adoption of the argument that is called in literature, at least the no necessary connection argument. He has adopted that by from Mel Branche and other Cartagians.
